Don’t Lay Up Anymore

September 7th, 2008 | By Jay McGrath

The place on the course that most golfers will lose strokes on is not at the tee and most of the time not even on the greens. Many golfers sacrifice strokes to lay up prior to a green because they are not comfortable with their wedges and short irons.

“We’ve lost our national way. We are a society of Chip Becks laying up intelligently.” -Tom Callahan

As Callahan does say, a lay up shot could be what seems to be intelligent. Following a beautiful drive the worst thing a golfer could do is to lay up because of a water hazard or bunker because they are not comfortable with their short game. With a golf pitching mat or golf hitting mat, any golfer can gain comfort in their short game by practicing their stroke with the realistic backyard mats.

A Quality Practice Mat

August 5th, 2008 | By Jay McGrath

The most efficient way to practice is not to go to a driving range but it is to go right in your backyard and hit for as long as you feel necessary.

“I have been skeptical of golf mats that claim to feel like grass. I love the game of golf and want practice equipment that will help me improve my game. I’ve been through a number of golf mats that had claimed to feel like grass and up until now have been disappointed. Before spending hundreds if dollars on another promise I wanted to “test drive” the Country Club Elite Mat for myself.

I only needed to take a few swings with my 7-iron to know that I came to the right place. I purchased the 5×5 on the spot - if your looking for a great practice aid you should too.

Cordially,”

William M. Brahm, D.D.S.

With these great golf driving range mats, your game will considerably improve. Along with limited flight balls you will be able to practice as often as you need to and not have to worry about running out of balls in your bucket.
