Effective Pitching and Chipping Practice

July 8th, 2008 | By Jay McGrath

The most effective way to practice pitching and chipping is not on the course prior to your round as many golfers believe.

“It was my pleasure to meet you at this years PGA show. Thank you so much for your help with our custom MEGSA Mats and also introducing me to your new Country Club Elite Mats. As you know we run multiple golf academies and have been looking for an acceptable synthetic hitting turf option for years. I had given up hope until seeing your product. It provides a true feel with true results especially on a “fat-shot”. We plan on installing your product at two of our academies this year with more to come. Best wishes for your continued success.”- Professional Teacher Mike Bender

By using these outdoor golf pitching mats along with either real golf balls or limited flight balls, your short game can be improved drastically. Another great aspect of the mat is that it reveals fat shots as they present themselves which is particularly effective with pitching wedge shots to show you how your shot truly will play out on a real course.

The Best Golf Training Aids Encourage You to Practice

July 3rd, 2008 | By Jay McGrath

Training Aid Review — My New Golf Mat I’ve Lowered My Score by 5 Strokes

“I have been using my new golf mat and birdie balls for about 4 weeks now and I absolutely believe they are the best training aid I have ever used. I try and hit them every chance I can the results are that I have lost at least 5 strokes a round.

I have the mat set up at the back of my driveway looking over part of my back yard with 3 targets to shoot to. By the way my 7 year old grand son uses the mat more than I do, we let him hit real golf balls for now but that won’t last much longer.

Thank you,”
